Michele has nearly 25 years of professional experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, bringing compassion, expertise, and dedication to every purpose and mission she supports in service to individuals, families, and the community. She is a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Michele is professionally and independently licensed as a mental health counselor in the states of Georgia, California, and Florida.

Throughout her career, Michele has worked across a wide range of behavioral health settings, including community-based counseling services (CORE and IFI), crisis support response, residential and intensive outpatient substance use treatment programs, Department of Juvenile Justice RYDC, and psychiatric research at Emory University, public health services (HIV+ and other special populations) with Fulton County Board of Health, Independent Living Programs (ILP), school-based support services (substitute teaching, counseling, and parent liaison) including college student counseling and crisis support, in addition to roles
of support for Individuals with Autism and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities specific care as a Behavior Specialist and Mobile Crisis Lead Clinician. She has held certification as a trainer in Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Michele has served as Clinical Director among other leadership roles across multiple agencies, reflecting her strong leadership, collaboration, and team-oriented approach.

In addition to her counseling work, Michele is the CEO and founder of Soul Behavior, LLC, her private
counseling practice. Michele is also a licensed Realtor and Certified Life Coach.

Beyond her professional roles, she is engaged in community service, volunteering with local outreach initiatives, youth mentorship, and advocacy efforts supporting access to mental health resources for underserved populations. Her commitment to activism centers on equity, wellness, and empowering individuals and families to thrive, and the duty she inherently believes is part of her purpose and mission to give.

An Atlanta native, Michele is a proud wife and the mother of three adult children. She considers motherhood her greatest role and accomplishment.

Michele proudly serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for an Atlanta-based non-profit Organization, Lineage and Legacy Foundation, Inc., dedicated to supporting the enhancement of youth in the community.
